NEW YORK
, May 27, 2008 – GemEx Systems, Inc. today announced it was awarded a patent for its Live Report™ technology, an online interactive feature that allows consumers to view the GemEx report of his or her diamond.

A GemEx Live Report can be easily accessed from home online and at the Jewelry counters of retailers who sell GemEx’ed stones. In the Live Report the brilliance, fire and scintillation of a diamond are displayed in motion on your computer screen just as they appear when viewed using the BrillianceScope™ photospectrometer (the light analysis technology used by GemEx to scientifically evaluate diamonds).

In addition to viewing a diamond under the 5 different views utilized by the BrillianceScope, Live Report technology allows consumers to enhance any of these images and thus view the unique details of his individual diamond. This digital diamond report complements the written GemEx Light Performance™ Report and can also be used to compare two diamonds.

“We are very pleased to have been awarded this patent,” said Randall Wagner, CEO of GemEx. “Live Report technology lets GemEx extend greater value to consumers and adds an interactive component to the diamond light rating process. This user-friendly technology is easy to access and affords individuals a more personalized consumer experience.”

An online Live Report also acts as a database for all information pertinent to a unique diamond. Each Live Report displays all of the data provided on the GemEx Light Performance™ Report that comes with every GemEx rated diamond as well as the diamond’s dimensions and traditional 4C rating information when available.
